About Us
In the Beginning:
Cory has been playing RPGs and other games for 20+ years. Waaaaaay back in highschool he knew that one day he would love to open his own game store. Some 15+ years later, that dream came true with the help of family and friends!
In 2007 Cory was able to get the funding together to open Myth Games. It's been a fantastic journey so far and more is to come.
Currently:
2015 has been another banner year for the store. We continue to grow and bring the community with us. We have several leagues, clubs and events that keeps the store open late into the evenings. We pioneered Midnight pre-release parties and have grown into helping organize a yearly game convention,
Where we're going:
We are always looking for room to expand and grow the community. 2017 sees the store contiue to expand its product selection and is working hard to bring unique events to cater to the Calgary Gaming Community.

The Lord High Mucky Muck: Cory has been playing D&D and other RPGs, Minis and board games for over 20 years (being kind not to reveal his age *cough* "39 and holding..."). Back in high school, he learned that running a business is not to be entered lightly. He spent several years working in many fields of interest before going to SAIT and graduating with a Degree in Business Management. Several years of management experience, with Cineplex Odeon and Coles Books gave him the confidence to go forward with his dream: opening a game store! After several friends and family helped get the finances in order, 2007 was the year to open the game store Myth Games. "It has been a helluva ride so far and I cannot wait to see what next year brings." |

Minion C: (AKA: Chelsea) As a side note, she is a graduate from The Art Institute of Vancouver and is the proud owner of a diploma in 3D Modeling for Animation and Games. |

Minion S (1) Minion S (1) is a recent University graduate who enjoys playing many card games including, but not limited to; Magic the Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh! (In which he holds a level 1 Judge standing), and Cardfight Vanguard.

Minion D Minion D loves board games and card games, online pc games, and can usually be found in some cave tweaking a deck or watching online videos. Minion D’s list of hobbies is an extensive one, and includes being in two bands as a singer and a drummer, reading sci-fi novels, playing airsoft, being a minor collector of gaming items, spending too much money on kickstarter projects, traveling the world, going to concerts, and being a bit of an audiophile, Minion D likes knowing a few things about a very large amount of topics.

Minion S (2) Minion S (2) is a passionate tabletop gamer, avid reader and part-time video game addict with a penchant for rogue-likes. Gaming has always been in Minion S's blood; from getting his first set of dice as a hand-me-down courtesy of his dad, to his forays into learning how to judge his favourite game, Magic: The Gathering, he rarely lets a day go by without playing one game or another. What other time he has left is spent drawing, painting or getting rowdy at concerts.
